What do you think Denmark can do to prevent the development of human trafficking?

It should be illegal to buy sex. If it were illegal to buy, it would reduce the supply. It would also raise awareness about all the violence and coercion that goes along with prostitution.

What do you think are the most important challenges surrounding human trafficking in Denmark?

I don't think most people know the extent of human trafficking in Denmark. There is a need for education and legislation so that these people can get their lives back. It is terrible to know that in the world we live in, there are people who "trade" with other people. That they walk around among us and look normal. But they are not. It is a basic human right to be able to make your own choices. Education must start at an early stage so that everyone knows that human trafficking is unacceptable at all levels.
