Eight young Danish actresses exhibited themselves as trafficked women in a shop window on Strøget. NEWLIVES teamed up with Reden International, the Center against Human Trafficking and the clothing chain Deres to focus on human trafficking on a Saturday afternoon in the middle of Strøget in Copenhagen.
It made a Saturday shopping crowd stop and instead focus their thoughts for a moment on the modern slavery of the time – Sex Trafficking, where women from the former Eastern Bloc countries, Africa and Thailand are bought and sold as sex objects.
The event "FRESH MEAT - take away" took place on Saturday, October 27, 2012, in the clothing chain Deres on Strøget in Copenhagen and at least 12,000 people saw this event that day.
