Can you name three words you associate with human trafficking?

• Blunt

• Primitive

• Heartbreaking!

What do you think Denmark can do to prevent the development of human trafficking?

Everyone can meet the basic principle of human rights about the individual's freedom to decide over their own life and their own choices! So that it is impossible to buy human services where one has the slightest feeling that the seller is not participating of their own free will!

Immediate help for the people who have ended up here in that context (which is a lifelong effort for those people). International efforts for prevention and general global poverty reduction!

What do you think are the most important challenges surrounding human trafficking in Denmark?

I don't think human trafficking is a problem for Denmark and Danes! We are just a market as a result of our prosperity! I am so old-fashioned that I believe that our task/challenge is to cease being a market and help to introduce human rights, equality, education, enlightenment, democracy and tolerable living conditions in those parts of the world where this is not a given!
